About Me

Found this great site while researching the Lockhart family from Dalkeith.

My great grandfather had 8 brothers, 6 of whom fought in WW1 but they were all Dalkeith men.

John Tillie Lockhart on this site is related, and I have now discovered when he emigrated to Australia and the fact that he married and had a daughter.

John Tillie Lockart was my father's Uncle.
I am in touch with his last surviving direct relative in Australia - and I have John's last 'Diary ' - written in pencil.
I have not been doing family history for a while now
